Tetrasomy 8 is a rare form of acquired aneuploidy found exclusively in
the myeloid leukemias. Hexasomy 8 is even rarer: only one case has be
en reported, thus far. We describe here the second case of hexosomy 8
as the sole abnormality in an elderly female patient with myelodysplas
