Nk. Halder et al., THE CHANGE OF VISCOSITY WITH CONCENTRATION OF SUSPENDED PARTICLES ANDA NEW CONCEPT OF GELATION, Journal of physics. Condensed matter, 9(42), 1997, pp. 8873-8878
The change in viscosity of a liquid with different concentrations (vol
ume fractions) of suspended particles has been measured using a differ
ential viscometer. The results support the recently introduced concept
of gelation, in that the viscosity first diverges when the concentrat
ion of suspended particles reaches a critical value, and 'gelation' co
mes after that.
