Abstract
Various aspects of intensified evaporation heat transfer From enhanced surfaces were investigated, both experimentally and employing computa tional fluid dynamics. The pool boiling performances of enhanced tubul ar and plate heat exchanger surfaces were tested with various process fluids. In addition, investigations of the local heat transfer on the gas side of heat exchanger elements were carried out. (C) European Com munities 1997. Published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
