Abstract
The catalytic enantioselective hydride transfer reduction of prochiral ketones using differently substituted mono and dithioureas with sever al catalyst precursors is reported. The best results are obtained with a ruthenium complex and a C-2 symmetric ligand. (C) 1997 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd.
