Abstract
An accurate numerical method for the evaluation of a particular Hadama rd finite part integral using the IMT quadrature is indicated. The pro posed method exploits a standard relation between the Cauchy principal value integral and the Hadamard finite part integral. The paper also provides an asymptotic estimate of the discretization error, starting from a contour integral representation of the error term. (C) 1997 Els evier Science B.V.
