Abstract
The synthesis of several representatives of the new thieno- and pyrazo lo[1,2,4]thiadiazine 1,1-dioxides ring systems is described. It was ca rried out by cyclization of the isocyanates (4) formed in the Curtius rearrangement of acyl;azides (3). The reactivity of these new rings to wards some electrophilic reagents was also explored.
