Abstract
The irradiation effect of high energy heavy ions in a foil has been in vestigated by secondary ions spectroscopy in the energy region where t he electronic stopping power is dominant. We observed significant enha ncement of the secondary ion yield above the threshold value of the el ectronic stopping power, where the irradiation effect in high T-c supe r conductors and metallic materials becomes remarkable.
