Abstract
Data of cytologic and histologic investigation performed in 65 patient s with kraurosis and vulvar leukoplakia are presented. Pathognomonic c ellular signs of virus cytopathic action (koilocytotic atypia, binucle ar cells) were revealed in 32.3% of women; the sings of mild, moderate , severe epithelial dysplasia were found in bioptates from injured vul var regions. Various cytomorphologic characteristics of the effect of antiviral treatment in complex therapy of patients were studied.
