Abstract
Ultrasound evaluation in urogynaecology has evolved, Comparison with t he old standard, lateral chain urethrocystography, as well as basic in vestigations of the sonographic technique and standardizations have cr eated a basis for a new imaging standard and for further developments in urogynaecology. The recent progress indicates that sonography holds the key to the future of imaging in urogynaecology.
