Abstract
The long-term variabilities of PKS 0735+178 in UBV bands have been sho wn and discussed by means of the methods of period analysis and correl ation analysis. The results show that there is a strong variation peri od of 14.42 years in B band, the variations in optical UBV bands are c losely correlated with no delay, and the spectral shape is associated with the brightness of the source.
