Abstract
The complete curative surgical resection of cancer is the best therapy . In most cases with new diagnosed cholangiocellular carcinoma this pr ocedure will be not successful because of advanced illness. In those p atients endoscopic treatment offers several procedures with advantage to surgical palliative operation. Duration of hospitalisation, mortali ty and technical expenditure are lower in most cases in comparison to surgical procedures and the functional results are the same.
