Abstract
Seven new complexes, [eta(5)-C5H5Fe(CO)(2)](2)Sn(S2COR)(2) (R = alkyl) , have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR an d H-1 NMR spectra. It has been proved that these O-alkyl dithiocarbona tes are monobasic bidentate ligands to the tin ion. The coordination n umber of the central tin ion is six and we suggest an octahedral struc ture for these complexes.
