Abstract
Oxidative polymerization of 3,6-diethynyl-9-hexylcarbazole with oxygen in the presence of copper complex affords soluble poly(9-hexylcarbazo le-3,6-diylbutadiynylene) in good yield. Irradiation with UV-vis. ligh t and annealing under nitrogen lead to photochemical and thermal cross -linking and insolubilization of the polymer film.
