FEEDING VALUE ON EXTENSIVE USED GRASSLAND

It should be examined parameters of feeding value from the first growt h on extensive used grassland in several growing stages. For this reas on material from the first growth was cutted in the middle of June, in the middle of July and in the middle of August in the years 1991 and 1992. The material was dryed to hay on the ground. The crude nutritive substances, in-vitro- and in-vivo-digestibility of the hay were analy sed. The digestibility of the organic matter decreased with the progre ss of growth from middle of June till middle of July three to four tim es more than in the following space time until middle of august. In th e same rhythm decreased the energy value from 5,6 MJ NEL in the middle of June to 4,4 MJ NEL in the middle of August as an average measure o f both years. The increasing of fibre fractions (XF, NDF, ADF, ADL, ZE L) and the decreasing of in-vitro-digestibiltys (in-sacco-dry matter l oss, ELOS) corresponded exactly with the decline of the digestibility of organic matter. The close sequence is according to the uniformity o f the botanical material.
