We consider the injection of a non-newtonian fluid through a thin peri
odically perforated wall (with period epsilon and thickness of order O
(epsilon)). Starting from the local flow described by the incompressib
le Stokes system with nonlinear viscosity (Carreau's law), the asympto
tic when epsilon --> 0 gives the law characterizing the global flow.
