Abstract
In this paper, optical and calorimetric investigations were performed
on PEG 6000 samples using different thermal cycles. We show that coupl
ing the data obtained by both techniques allows the interpretation of
all the phenomena observed on the enthalpic curve. In particular, the
emergence of different PEG chain forms depending on heat treatment was
