Abstract
We report the cases of two young trauma patients with asymptomatic aor tic stenosis who died after nonlethal blunt traumatic injuries, In bot h cases, their deaths were attributed to their underlying valvular dis ease. Awareness of the incidence of asymptomatic aortic stenosis and i ts potential physiologic hazard to the trauma victim may facilitate ma nagement of these difficult patients.
