Abstract
Power scaling is combined with Cesaro summation, and necessary and suf ficient local conditions are given for the resulting matrix sequence L -N(T) to converge. It is shown that this convergence is closely relate d to path conditions on the one hand as well as suitable bilinear cons istency conditions on the other hand. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science Inc.
