Abstract
Intracoronary stenting has now become a widely stablished method for t reatment of complications of coronary angioplasty. The risk of stent e mbolism exists and if not retrieved, it may lead to thrombosis and cor onary occlusion with myocardial infarction. We report a case of emboli sm of an undeployed intracoronary stent where there was failure of per cutaneous attempts to pull back the stent, requiring surgical retrieva l and simultaneous coronary artery bypass grafting, both without cardi opulmonary bypass.
