Abstract
We report the first case of cutaneous and articular mucinosis with pre sence of mucin deposits within the synovium in an HIV-positive patient s. Presentation was asymmetric polyarthritis, and subcutaneous nodules developed two months later. Treatment was with hydroxychloroquine. Th e outcome of both the skin and joint lesions was favourable.
