Abstract
In the title compound, [LiI(C4H8O2)(mu-C4H8O2)](n), obtained by recrys tallization of LiI from 1,4-dioxane, the ligand is present in both mon odentate and bridging modes, the latter resulting in a linear polymeri c structure.
