Abstract
The crystal structure of tubingensin B, (1 alpha,4 alpha,4a alpha,7 al pha,14b beta)-(-)-2,3,4,4a,5,6,7,9-octahydro-4,4 7-isopropyl-1H-7, 14b -ethanobenzo[3,4] cyclohepta[1,2-b]carbazol-1-ol, C28H35NO, confirms t he structure assigned from NMR spectra, The molecule forms hydrogen-bo nded sheets parallel to the bc plane in the crystal, A disordered mole cule of solvent, CHCl3, is included in the crystal.
