Abstract
The title compound, C16H17N3O.H2O, adopts the keto tautomeric form and the azomethine C=N double bond is in the E configuration. The crystal structure is stabilized by O-H ... O, O ... H ... N, C-H ... O and N- H ... O hydrogen bonds between the hydrazone and water molecules.
