Abstract
The multiplicities and cross sections for the emission of fragments ar e measured for Xe-132 fragmentation on photoemulsion nuclei. The resul ts of these measurements are compared with predictions based on the ca scade-evaporation model, the cold-breakup model, and the factorization hypothesis for fragmentation cross sections.
