Abstract
The influence of the mass density of bulk Tl2Ba2Ca2Cu3O10 sample on it s critical current density is investigated. An empirical relationship between the sample density and the transport critical current density was found and this relationship can be explained by assuming that the intergranular critical current is approximately inversely proportional to the average linear separation of the grains.
