Abstract
The excitation energies of the excited states 1s(2)nl (l = s,p,d, and f, and 6 less than or equal to n less than or equal to 9) and the dipo le oscillator strengths of the 1s(2)2s - 1s(2)np, 1s(2)2p - 1s(2)nd an d 1s(2)3d - 1s(2)nf transitions for lithium atom are calculated by usi ng the full core plus correlation method.
