Pe. Birk et Bm. Chavers, DOES CYTOMEGALOVIRUS CAUSE GLOMERULAR INJURY IN RENAL-ALLOGRAFT RECIPIENTS, Journal of the American Society of Nephrology, 8(11), 1997, pp. 1801-1808
The case of a 16-yr-old woman who received an ABO-incompatible renal a

erulonephritis type I is presented, The patient's posttransplant cours

ing of glomerular CMV inclusions on renal biopsy. This article focuses
on the pathology and pathogenesis of glomerular injury associated wit
h CMV infection in renal allograft recipients and also reviews the epi
