Abstract
This article presents a numerical method for computing incompressible flows with given pressure boundary conditions. Unstructured meshes com posed of arbitrary polyhedra are considered in a cell-centered, co-loc ated pressure-velocity formulation. The SIMPLE algorithm of Patankar a nd Spalding is extended to develop correction equations for boundary s tatic pressure and boundary mass flux through an added-dissipation sch eme. The procedure is validated against published benchmarks and shown to perform satisfactorily.
