Abstract
Stereospecific synthesis of 2-deoxy-alpha-glycosides of methyl glycyrr hetate, methyl deoxycholate, and cholesterol was performed by glycosyl ation of the corresponding alcohols with glycal acetates in the presen ce of a cation-exchange resin (H+) and LiBr.
