Es. Shubina et al., INTERACTION OF RHENIUM HYDRIDE (ETA(5)-C5ME5)REH(CO)(NO) WITH FLUORINATED ALCOHOLS, Russian chemical bulletin, 46(7), 1997, pp. 1349-1351
The interaction between the fluorinated alcohols (ROH)-O-F (R-F = (CF3
)(2)CH and (CF3)(3)C) and rhenium hydride (eta(5)-C5Me5)ReH(CO)(NO) in
hexane and liquid freon was studied in a wide temperature range by IR
and H-1 NMR methods, respectively. The formation of hydrogen-bonded c
omplexes of two types, ReH...HORF and NO...HORF, was established. The
hydride signal in the H-1 NMR spectra at 96 K splits into two signals
(at delta = -7.54 and -8.87) corresponding to the free ReH and the ReH
...HO complex, respectively.
