Abstract
The structure of ethallyl-1,1-dimethyl-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridinium io dide was established by X-ray structural analysis. The corresponding b ase was synthesized by reductive diallylation of pyridine with trimeth allylborane in the presence of 2-propanol.
