Abstract
Using qualitative methods, I explore how paradigm choices influence sc holars' professional lives in a single discipline, law. I contend ther e is a paradigm culture that operates in conjunction with other facult y cultures and suggest where my findings might extend to related disci plines, particularly those in the social sciences.
