Abstract
The tetramethylammonium salt of trithiocarbonic acid 3,5-dithione-1,2- dithiol-4-yl (1) is formed upon reaction of CS2 with tetramethylammoni um fluoride (TMAF) in dimethylformamide (DMF), probably via intermedia te formation of FCS2-. The crystal structure of 1 was determinated by X-ray structural analysis. (C) 1997 Elsevier Science S.A.
