Abstract
On the basis of the calorimetric data on the thermodynamic properties of aldehydes (from ethanal to heptanal), their polymers, and the therm odynamic parameters of bulk polymerizations of these monomers in the t emperature range from 5-10 to 330-370 K and at standard pressure, the variations in the enthalpies, entropies, the Gibbs functions, and the upper limiting polymerization temperatures as the functions of the str ucture of the reagents and their physical states and temperature were established.
