Abstract
Isospecific free radical cyclopolymerization of tartrate-based monomer s gives polymers with very high optical rotations. Circular dichroism and polarimetric measurements suggest the polymers are rigid and order ed. Their high resistance to solvolysis suggests potential application s in chiral chromatography.
