Abstract
The absorption spectra of quartz fiber lightguides of various types, i rradiated with gamma-quanta to a total dose of 10-1000 Mrad, were stud ied in the wavelength range from 200 to 7000 nm. It is established tha t a certain spectral region exists in which optical losses exhibit a m inimum growth with increasing absorbed dose.
