EFFECT OF HIGH-VOLTAGE NANOSECOND-PULSE FRONT DURATION ON THE EFFICIENCY OF CONDITIONING THE ACCELERATING GAP BETWEEN THE MICROCHANNEL PLATE AND SCREEN
Aa. Emelyanov, EFFECT OF HIGH-VOLTAGE NANOSECOND-PULSE FRONT DURATION ON THE EFFICIENCY OF CONDITIONING THE ACCELERATING GAP BETWEEN THE MICROCHANNEL PLATE AND SCREEN, Instruments and experimental techniques, 40(4), 1997, pp. 516-518
It is shown that the efficiency of conditioning the accelerating gap b
etween the microchannel plate and screen by rectangular pulses with an
infinitely short rise time is similar to 15% higher than the efficien
cy of conditioning by pulses with oblique-angled fronts. Intermediate
values are obtained with rectangular pulses with finite front duration
