An antiferromagnetic-resonance investigation is reported at low-temper
atures in Zn-doped spin-Peierls compounds CuGeO3. The results are fitt
ed to classical-antiferromagnetic-resonance theory with orthorhombic a
nisotropy. The relevant parameters of the ground state, including the
Neel temperature, the spin-flop field, and the temperature dependence
of the zero-field excitation energy (lower mode), are deduced. A compa
rison with the magnetic properties determined in an ultrasonic experim
ent is also made.
