Abstract
A new definition of quantum entropy based on the notion of coherent st ates is introduced. Two methods of calculating coherent states entropy are presented. One of them utilises the theory of iterated function s ystems. The coherent states entropy is computed as the integral of the Boltzmann-Shannon entropy over a fractal set.
