Abstract
In this part of a psychiatric pain curriculum, pain terms are defined. Pain disorders with relevance to psychiatry are described. according to the classification systems of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and the International Headache Society (IHS) com piled. Associated problems of chronic pain states are outlined.
