Abstract
A 40-year-old patient developed an extensive organic psychosyndrome 2 years. The diagnosis of neurosyphilis was confirmed through a specific pattern of laboratory. After an antibiotic therapy the clinical sympt oms and the laboratory parameters improved. The problems of the organi c diagnosis of psychopathological syndromes, the therapeutic strategie s and prognosis of neurosyphilis were discussed.
