Abstract
In the title crystal of hylenediaminato-kappaN:kappaO']bis[aquacopper( II)] diperchlorate, [Cu2(C12H25N4O2)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2, the cation exists as a dinuclear complex. Each Cu(II) ion is pentacoordinated in a dist orted square-pyramid conformation: two donor N atoms of one tetradenta te ligand and one N atom and one O atom of the other ligand form a sli ghtly distorted equatorial plane and a water 0 atom occupies the axial position.
