Abstract
A stress-strain diagram model is proposed that incorporates the Work h ardening and the increase in damage tendency. The model is applicable to the stretching curve for continuously cast steel 45 with the use of magnetic-characteristic measurements, which makes it possible to fore cast the working life by means of nondestructive magnetic testing meth ods.
