Abstract
The conformation of the title molecule, C17H13N3O2, is generally simil ar to the conformations of analogous compounds. Both five-membered rin gs possess envelope conformations. The dihedral angle between the mean planes of these two rings equals 5.33 (8)-degrees. The molecules in t he crystal are joined by an intermolecular hydrogen bond N1-H4...O1(x, 1/2 + y, z) of 2.869 (3) angstrom.
