Abstract
Transluminal extraction catheter atherectomy has been shown to be a cl inically effective interventional technique for the treatment of throm botic degenerative saphenous vein bypass grafts, We will report the fi rst case of detachment of transluminal extraction catheter cutter head from the shaft and its successful retrieval during a saphenous vein b ypass graft intervention.
