Abstract
The molecular structure of the title compound, C30H18N3O6P3, is distor ted from that observed in related clathrate compounds. The central pho sphazene core takes a boat conformation. The peripheral naphthalene ri ngs are not planar and the five-membered exocyclic rings are bent appr eciably at the O-atom positions. The packing of the distorted molecule s is governed predominantly by van der Waals forces in the crystal.
