Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to generalise the theory of Grobner fans. We introduce fans and covers defined by subsets of the reduced Grobne r bases. Of particular interest is the case of minimal fans and covers , i.e., fans which are defined in terms of minimal generating sets con tained in a reduced Grobner basis.
