Abstract
alpha-Thioalkyl esters and carbonates have been prepared by a tin-Pumm erer rearrangement in reactions of alpha-stannylated sulfoxides with a cid chlorides or chloroformates, respectively. Acid chlorides have a h igher reactivity than chloroformates in this reaction.
