Abstract
Based on data for insulating n-type CdSe at temperatures between 0.05 and 4.2 K and magnetic fields above 3 T (up to the highest measured fi eld of 9 T), we demonstrate an empirical relation between the longitud inal and transverse conductivities given by sigma(xy) = AHsigma(xx)3/2 .
