Abstract
Rhone Valley, and the Ardeche country, is a place located between Mass if Central mountains and the Rhone river. The diggins began during the 19th century but the most important existed since 50 rears and after. The caves are the most numberous around the Ardeche canyon, in the so uth. But others sites show that men lived in all th country. This work began in 1984 with the new study of the Orgnac 3 artefacts. At the sa me time, palaeoenvironments, studies were developped on new diggins an d old caves. They gave rich informations about the chronostratigraphy and the industries of the men of this country during time.
